TAMPA BIG CAT RESCUE

Big Cat Promo ImageAs a Tampa guy and as a Floridian, I always try to search different cool spots and different organizations that are in my city; I know I can give money too much because I am another of the countless victims of recession, but I always try to help in any way I can. One of those organizations I found recently was the Tampa Big Cat Rescue a really great organization located in town and one that helps wild cats like Lion and Tigers who had been victims of abuse or captivity in the hands of private owners. The organization held wild cats, not domesticated ones so if you are in a tour never ever touch the cages or violate any of the rules because the consequences could be lethal.

The Big Cat Rescue is an nonprofit educational sanctuary, they depend on donations made from the public, and I think is a place that deserves every single penny for help because they are an amazing labor with exotic animals that is not common today. A last note, according to the Tampa Tribune, if you live in Florida, there is going to an amnesty day for all the owners of exotic animals who don’t want their “exotic” pets, the day is going to be at the Miami Metro Zoo , and information regarding this event can be found in the zoo webpage.
