As a fan of roller coasters and living in Central Florida, I guess I am no strange to roller coasters and I think I can give a guide to the best coaster in Central Florida. To start there are plenty of good coaster, and many to choose from different sizes and speeds, but which is the best one in my opinion?.
1. Hulk: At Island of Adventure (don’t confuse it with the lame aquatic park in Tampa) in Orlando, is probably the best coaster in all Central Florida. You feel practically flying through the entire ride, if you love roller coasters this is the one for you.
2. Big Thunder Railroad Mountain: Located at Magic Kingdom; if you want your kids to start with a coaster, this is the one, is kind of smooth but sometimes it can be bumpy and in the best Disney tradition you will be in the middle of a old west town.
3. Splash Mountain: Also located at Disney, and probably one of the most popular rides in the park; this water coaster takes the visitor to the story of Song of the South… which maybe 99% of the riders don’t have a clue about the theme of the ride, because some people thought that Song of the South was racist and the movie is banned (but it can be downloaded).
4. The Mummy Revenge: Located at Universal Studios Florida. One word “Spectacular”.
5. Sheikra: Located at Busch Gardens Africa Interesting. All I can say.

As a Democrat, or Libertarian; depending on how you see me; I want to say that today speech of President Obama was quite refreshing and inspiring, it gave a new perspective that we the people can we get over this crisis, as there is no crisis that has lasted over 100 years. Is true that there is a health care problem, a mortgage crisis and people are struggling to make a living because there are no jobs and the socio-economical situation is not the best; but Obama’s word were kind of inspiring and at least to me gave me hope that everything is not lost, and the promise of education was quite radical but cool because not many people have the opportunity to pursue a degree in higher education. With education we can get as far as we dream of, and a country that have high standards in education is a country that will win in the global market as is highly competitive and is demanding more knowledge’s between individuals and like Obama said “quitting is not an option”.

It’s difficult to be far away from home, and especially in these times that difficulty is in every corner, I feel my battles lost although not my war and my struggles, I need to keep fighting and God Mighty hear my prayer because I never asked for anything except right now, illumination in my path to know what to do and to help my family by any means. I am trying to improve myself; I’m going to English classes at night as well to the GED classes because I want my diploma. I want to create an history and to go to college here, I’m struggling to be somebody and I know with divine intervention I will, but God lead my path to the best, to best result because this young child of yours is scare.

I rarely give a rant here, but this crisis needs to be resolved quickly, pronto, now!. Is terrible, sorry to be egocentric but I been 9 months without a job and soon next April is going to be a year. I am scare because I don’t know what do, almost nobody is picking and tomorrow I am going again to some restaurants in the area to see if I have some luck, because I don’t have money to pay the bills and I am going to end in the streets really soon, I am not alone I know… 5.000.000 people probably more like me are in the same way and we need help, because even with all our struggles we are having major problems. Please Obama or anyone, we need help and we need it soon!

One of the most challenging things a foreigner can take is driving in a highway or an expressway, in many of our countries there aren’t such roads that are printed with such speeds and when you are driving for the first time in one of them it can be overwhelming and scary because something simple as getting out of the highway can be something difficult or getting in can be stressful as you don’t know if someone else is going to give you the way. My first time in a highway I have to admit it was something horrible but gradually I get used to it and now after a year I drive anywhere and any place but with responsibility because I know there some people as me from other countries, that they don’t respect the rules and they can detonate an accident because of their ignorance and you should be extra careful, but not only foreigners but also Americans who don’t respect the rules also.

As a foreigner there is something that I see in first world countries such as U.S.A. and Europe and is the promise that those countries make to smart and artistic people to emigrate there no matter what. Is something weird because many smart people go away from their home countries to seek for better opportunities and they don’t care if they have to work… Ok I don’t any example but those people don’t care if they have to do the dirtiest jobs, if that means a better future.
I remember that in Colombia many smart or artistic people are underappreciated, artist in general, is not the best country to become a professional artist as people don’t appreciate art at all, I guess as an aspiring writer and comic book writer if I stayed in Colombia I couldn’t achieve my dream or start fighting for it, is really difficult but when I emigrated my panorama changed really drastically, even right now my original desires have changed a little bit and now my hope is to become a teacher a Language Teacher, but that doesn’t mean that I won’t give up my dream of becoming an author; even, I have rediscovered my passion of acting and photographing.
I guess many third world countries don’t appreciate the intellectuals they have and what they can give to the community, which is something sad to see all these brains on the run, on the run from what could be better scenery.

This is going to be a small note, because I am not going to say anything beyond the rant. Is a sad day for democracy because an animal like Hugo Chavez Frias is in the power of probably one the most beautiful countries in terms of geography, but with this animal who thinks is smart than everyone else and I only can say Venezuela officially died today with the new referendum as this political animal is going to stay until a coup d’état is held, but for now Venezuela is screwed and we can expect that more people are going to leave the country as many Cuban do it today, in a not so distant future Venezuelans will become the next Cubans as they will try to escape from a dictatorship by any means.
Rest in peace Venezuela (1522 – 2009)

This is only a short observation, but today I celebrated my second Saint Valentine and after a year I can say that this day don’t have anything saint, except the money that enters to the manufacturers and other companies who produce these silly bears and chocolates with lame legends, that at the end nobody really need; you don’t a chocolate or a teddy bear with a big heart to say I love you,; love is expressed trough actions and words, is better to say I love you than buying a teddy bear that you are not going to pay attention after Saint Valentine; and why a day to say I love you?, is you can say it anytime and anywhere, say it “I love you”, say it to your better half and say it with passion and not a stupid icon. Why we are teaching this consumerist “tradition” to our children?, I don’t know, but if you want to teach something to your children, teach them the way to love their fellow brother and sisters and not the way to spend in objects that at the end they don’t mean nothing.

Ok, I was watching the Image Awards and there was something that catch my attention and it was that I only saw a couple of “white” individuals including Randy “The Yo-yo dog man” Jackson and Dakota Fanning who were there to “receive” and give some award, but for the rest I didn’t saw any; so what catch my attention is that the African American community have 3 award ceremony that technically Hispanic or White can’t win but African can win in the Oscars or the Emmy and even the Grammys (but who don’t win at the Grammys?). So at the end why African complaint so much if they have 3 award ceremonies. I can even dare to say that those African Awards ceremonies are more racist than the Oscars.
